The ct scan is done and guiding screws are in

Dad was great through the whole thing. There were some documentation snags we weren't informed of that almost caused him to have to return to finish the mapping scan, but the Dr hopefully has it worked out well enough with a high resolution ct scan instead of an MRI for the mapping guide. FYI people if you have any stents in your body you must have an official medical procedure card for proof of the date, dr, and where it exactly is before you have an MRI performed. This is not something you can be expected to be warned about in advance. We found out over an hour after waiting to be called back for the MRI. Since we got to Vandy at 6am and dad had not eaten at all, when this was told to us at 3:30 it was frustrating to say the least! The staff were all very nice and apologetic, explaining this was a federal regulation as of October 2010. Interestingly, Dad had an MRI two days ago at memorial with not one word said about this new regulation.
However, he is happy to be eating again and going home. Karen and I rode with mom and dad to Nashville. He is asking to stop for an icecream now :-)
