This is a blog to keep everyone informed on Dad's Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery in August 2011, and also dealing with malignant stomach endocarcinoma treatment diagnosed November 2011. Brain Surgery Stage 1, 2a, 2b, 3, & 4. Soon the stimulator will be programmed (increased) every three days again with a hand held device. ( Most recent post is on top)

The pre-op appointment is Aug 1st. Then stage 1 is Aug 15. Stage 1 is the brain MRI and mapping for the positioning tool. Guiding Screws will be inserted in the skull to be used in surgery.
Pre-Op appointment went well.
