Dad is eating like a horse, making jokes with every nurse, and he looked at me with surprise and said "I feel normal", then smiled. YAY!!!
He should get a room eventually, but this time around we were prepared for this kind of wait and it is not so bad. Plus, his nurse in recovery this time around is really great.

Glad to hear that Jim is doing well. We would like to make a chicken pasta casserole. When would it be a good time to bring it over?
ReplyDeleteDad should be discharged and home by tomorrow evening. Last time we were home by 4. He will likely be disoriented and unable to actually visit for a few days though. But you can being the delicious sounding caserrole anytime you like. He might suprise us and be more alert this time, you never know! The way he is recovering so far today he might just do that. Thank you very much!!
